About Dealhunterzone

A small publishing project covering one narrow subject: how online shoppers find a discount code that actually works, without opening six coupon sites at the checkout.

Why this website exists

Almost every checkout page now shows a promo-code box, and most shoppers leave it empty. The codes circulating on the web are mostly expired, region-locked, or never worked in the first place, and no retailer is going to tell you which of theirs is live. Dealhunterzone exists to look at that problem plainly — what a coupon extension actually solves, and what it does not.

We are a consumer information website. We do not build, host, licence, sell or support any coupon service or shopping extension ourselves, and we do not sell anything to shoppers.

The product category we cover

Our coverage focuses on coupon extensions — browser add-ons that recognise a retailer at the checkout, test the discount codes known for it, and apply the one that saves the most. SimplyCodes is the product featured on our homepage.

This is a category where honest expectation-setting matters. An extension can only test codes that exist; it does not create a discount, it cannot stack codes a retailer forbids, and on plenty of carts the honest answer is that nothing applies. Promotions also change from week to week and differ by country, so two shoppers can reach the same checkout and see different results. We say so consistently, because a reader who signs up on the strength of an overstated promise is a reader we have failed.

Our editorial approach

Claims we will not make

No invented statistics, no fabricated user counts, no rankings we cannot substantiate, and no countdown timers or manufactured scarcity. If a figure is not something we can point to, it does not appear on the page.

How we frame products

Featured products are described in terms of what they are designed to do, with the caveats attached. We use words like “may” and “varies” when those are the honest words, even where a stronger one would convert better.

Advertising, disclosed up front

Our homepage article is a paid advertorial and is labelled as one at the very top of the page, above the header, before any content. Nothing about that arrangement is buried in a footnote.

Corrections

If something we publish is inaccurate or has gone out of date, write to us and we will review it. Retailer promotions, store coverage and feature availability change often; we would rather fix a page than defend it.

Transparency about commercial relationships

Dealhunterzone is a commercially supported website. The homepage article is sponsored content, and the links to the featured product are affiliate links. If a reader goes on to use or purchase something after following one of those links, this website may receive compensation from the advertiser or its affiliate network.

That compensation does not add anything to the price a reader pays, and it does not buy a guarantee of positive coverage — the caveats above sit on the same page as the promotion. Full details are set out in our Advertising Disclaimer.

Who we write for

Our audience is general-interest: people who shop online a few times a month, who are not full-time deal hunters, and who want a straightforward explanation before trying anything new. Content is written in US English and reflects US consumer-privacy expectations, including the rights described in our Privacy Policy.

We do not provide legal, financial, medical or professional advice of any kind, and nothing on this website should be treated as such. Always confirm a retailer's current terms and pricing at that retailer.
